French-born maritime professional, Laurent Mora has dedicated his life to the sea, watersports, and yacht operations.

Today, he is the Founder and Managing Director of CBCM Yacht Services, an international yacht services company supporting yacht owners, captains, and crews throughout the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Canary Islands, and Caribbean sailing routes.

Laurent holds multiple professional qualifications, including:

• Professional Skipper in the Spanish Merchant Marine 100 GT (Harbor Skipper)
• National Sailing Instructor
• National Kitesurfing and Watersports Instructor
• Instructor Trainer certified by the French National Sailing and Watersports School (ENVSN)
• National Lifeguard and Aquatic Rescue Professional
• Master’s Degree in Marketing and Management for Sport and Tourism

His unique combination of maritime operations, sailing expertise, hospitality, tourism, and yacht services allows him to understand the needs of both yacht owners and professional crews.

A Lifetime Dedicated to the Sea

Laurent discovered sailing during childhood and quickly developed a passion for competitive sailing and life on the water.

His early years included extensive experience aboard:

This natural progression led him towards yacht racing, offshore sailing, and international maritime projects.

In 1998, Laurent discovered the emerging sport of kitesurfing in Hawaii, becoming one of the pioneers of the discipline in Europe during its formative years.

From 1999 to 2003, he served as an International Judge on the PKRA World Tour (Professional Kiteboard Riders Association), contributing to the development and international recognition of competitive kiteboarding.

Between 1995 and 2005, Laurent was actively involved in the international Boardsports and watersports industry as a:

His international sporting career allowed him to build strong relationships across the marine industry, watersports sector, and tourism markets worldwide.
